July's Car of the Month
See, I didn't forget.
Weather Station Deluxe
Arguably the most gadget worthy gadget posted on this blog: the large Oregon Scientific weather station designed by Starck. This device features a clock that automatically syncs to the US atomic clock via radio control as well as barometric pressure, moon phase with tide indication, temperature, humidity, and alarm functions/displays. It also includes one remote sensor for monitoring temperature & humidity in a different room and looks like a miniature version of the main unit (up to 3 sensors can be used). The time can be projected on the ceiling for easy viewing while lying on the couch, it detects ambient light in order to turn on (and off) the display backlight, and has a battery backup.
Card Reader
Now that Madeleine is here, the gadget buying has resumed. But this one is really for Maddy. It's a card reader, so we can more easily transfer pictures of her to our computers.

Ben has posted pictures

I've posted pictures
here. But mine are not as up to date as Ben's.
Ben has a second video of Maddy
here. But she doesn't really do anything except hiccup, sneeze, and yawn once.
and I think that's it for now.

Madeleine
Madeleine arrived at 10:48am Thursday June 30th. She was 7lbs and 14oz and 20 inches long. We’re all doing well, Madeleine’s favorite two things appear to be sleeping and being burped.
