due to “popular demand,” the recently-posted movies on maddy’s site have now been “down converted” in order to make them QuickTime 6-compatible. it seems as though several of you - and you know who you are - are having some serious issues watching the new QuickTime 7 movies. i suggest you re-evaluate how you maintain your computers. if you are stuck in an old version of Windows and QuickTime 7 will not install, be aware that you have fallen behind the times and there may be other technologies that may not work or perform correctly, either. not only has QuickTime 7 been available for nearly a year, it has a superior codec - H264 - that provides excellent image quality at lower data rates, which translates into faster downloads and better viewing experiences for everyone. please - don’t make maddy hold on to unnecessary old technology. she is a progressive girl, and moves with the times.
